The Club of Rome
From Key Point Dialog
The Club of Rome is a global think tank, organized in 1968 by Italian industrialist Aurelio Peccei and Scottish scientist Alexander King to study the future prospects of the humankind. The Club's report Limits to Growth, issued in 1972, was an early warning about the non-sustainability of the current global trends. Sold in 30 million copies, Limits to Growth is the number one bestseller among the books on environmental issues.
